Agius Art School, Fgura MALTA and Jozef Chermonski Fine Arts College in Naleczow POLAND organized an Art and Design joint exhibition at the Foyer of the Government Local Council Fgura MALTA
The Onor Parliament Secretary Mr Silvio Parnis and the Mayor Mr Pierre Dalli inaugurated an Art and Design Exhibition between MALTA and POLAND. This was the first time that a joint exhibition between the two Countries happened at the Fgura Local Council. Thanks to all those involved in the setup of this beautiful exhibition. We would like to thank the organizers Mr Carmel Charles Agius, Director of Agius Art School and Mr Konrad Rzadowski, lecturer at the Jozef Chermonski Fine Arts College and Ms Anna Krzeszowska, Deputy Leader of the Jozef Chermonski, Fine Arts College in Poland for this event. Hundreds of people attended during the ceremony of the exhibition. Many people lefts many comments about the success of the exhibition presented.

Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen, Parents and students.

Dear Mayor Mr Pierre Dalli and all Local Councillors, The Executive Secretary Ms Beverly Saliba and all Local Council staff. We would like to thank you all for your kind help. Today is our special day for all our students because we are presenting our Art and Design Exhibition between Malta and Poland.
Dear Directors of The Jozef Chelmonski Secondary School of Fine Arts, Naleczow in Poland I am very pleased and I would like to thank you all that today we are here for this beautiful event.
Allow me to tell you some important information about my school. My school opened its doors in September 2016. It is a small private school located in Fgura where it offers two-hour learning in the evening.
My school provides a unique and highly personalized method of learning, educate and encourage creative individuals to achieve the highest level of success. Since our doors were opened I am committed to helping students to pursue a career they love. My school help students understand the visual elements and to achieve more practice on experimentation, demonstration and realization in Art and Design. Innovation and learning through various concepts. Many students during their lessons will achieve more goals to sit for the Art O-level Examination.
From time to time our students will participate in art exhibitions organized by our school with different themes and topics. During the last 4 years, we organized many art exhibitions around Malta and I encourage students to participate and to take new experiences in Diversity of Art Culture, locally and abroad and that’s why we are here.
A few months ago I received a letter from the General Director of Jozef Chelmonski Fine Arts College in Poland regarding a possibility of school partnership and after several contacts, we decided to work together as partner schools.
I have the pleasure to announce that on September 2019 we as a school project partners settled to organize the first scholarship in Poland for the benefit of our Maltese students and parents.
A nice group of 10 Maltese students with 10 Parents are going to benefit from various workshops.
The Jozef Chelmonski Secondary School of Fine Arts in Naleczow Poland offered us great opportunities for the coming years that includes a residential stay, food at low cost and free workshops to all. The Course offered to our Maltese students and parents will consist of Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Toy Making, Sewing Bags, The making of a clock using an inlaid work technique, Multimedia, Animated films, Graphics and Fashion Design, 3d prints and Photography. On September 2019 during our stay, the Mayor of Naleczow is going to meet us in person for a possibility of future partner towns.
Mr Konrad Rzadowski made an official visit to my art school. During that meeting, we discussed our good relations and all the possibilities to work together for the benefit of our Maltese students and parents. The first meeting with us was held in September 2018. He made an introduction to my students were we discussed all various topics and a possibility of future scholarships and other related activities.
We as a school project partners managed to organize this Joint Art and Design Exhibition between Malta and Poland. The artistic works presented today in this event has different aspects of Art and Design with different themes and topics. The Maltese students have the pleasure to show their Paintings on Canvas of some Maltese History and Traditional Characteristics Maltese Passages, buildings and places of interest around Malta and religious paintings
I would like to thank Mr Konrad Rzadowski a lecturer and the Deputy Director Ms Anna Krzeszowska who today are here with us. They are the organizers of such a beautiful event.
I am very happy that I received much help from my students. I would like to thank Katrina Vella, a 12-year old student who managed to run the running order of this event. I would like also to thank these students: Thea Marie Zerafa, Braden Cefai and Nicole Anne Buhagiar who managed to use the Camera’s so we will have an album of photos and a video recording. I would like to thank all participated Maltese and Polish students.
